My daughter is creepy.

I'll set the scene: It's about 1:30am, and I wake up and realize that the water glass on my nightstand is empty. I need a drink of water, so I get out of bed, where Fitzy is all curled up next to me, and walk down the hall into the kitchen. I get to the kitchen and flip the light on - and this is what I see. At 1:30am. In the complete darkness (before I flipped the light):

See her? On the buffet, behind the stoneware canister with the orange design - that's my baby! WTH?! Why on earth would a kitty sit there in pitch blackness in the middle of the night? Normal kitties get into bed, curl up on a chair, lay on a blanket. My daughter sits on dining room furniture and stares at a wall.

I've seen her in equally bizarre places before, under similar circumstances. My personal favorite was flipping on the light in the kitchen at 1am and seeing her sitting perfectly upright, in the corner of the living room, facing the wall.

So strange.
